Philippine Police Killed 12 Militants

Police in Maguindanao Province in the southern Philippines said on the 23rd that the police in the province killed 12 militants during an arrest operation that day, and one policeman died in the exchange of fire.

Criminal suspects suspected of murder, drug trafficking, robbery and other crimes. During the operation, the police were resisted by a group of militants, including the suspect, and the two exchanged fire for about 5 hours.

   The police said that four other policemen were injured in the crossfire. In this operation, the police seized weapons such as sniper rifles, automatic rifles and pistols.
